It's 5am in Canada and 11am in Vienna. Cat and I survived the 8 1/2 hour red eye from Toronto to Vienna without incident. Aside from a sneezing man taking aim at Cat and a whole lot of kiddies on board, it was smooth. We are at the terminal awaiting our next flight leaving in a few hours. The Vienna airport has lovely coffee and the perfect kitty tee. Next destination is Moscow! We are meeting our driver (who we've been told looks like Kenny G) and translator at the arrivals gate and they will take us to our hotel in Old Arabat Street, downtown Moscow. We will spend the night (which to us will feel like day) then fly out Tuesday afternoon to Volgograd as our final destination.
We are tired but excited for the next leg of the journey. Moscow here we come!

Welcome to my adoption blog. I am a thirty something Canadian Chick in the process of becoming a mommy bird through international adoption. I can't promise that my mind and heart won't wander off topic as I am apt to do and so may my posts. I can promise that I will share with you the joy and pain that is the stuff of all great journeys. The facts and the feelings, the laughter and the tears, the lessons and the bliss.
