The Sound of Sunshine

As I drove to work on this sunshiney day, my thoughts turned to all the bright rays that has been shinning down on my world. There are so many bright spirits and warm rays blessing me on this journey.  I'd like to share a few beams of gratitude.

  • Thank you to the Shepleys for paying it forward to me.  They are coming to meet us on Saturday to share their wisdom and advice before the trip.
  • Thank you to my Doctor for waiving the medical's fees and accommodating all my out of the ordinary requests.
  • Thank you to to all my cyber adoptive parent friends for shining light through sharing you experiences and sunny thoughts to me.  I feel them through cyberspace.
  • Thank you to Dr. Simone who is the Chief of Pediatrics at Trillium Hospital and found the time to return my call and review my proposal's medical information within two hours of sending it to him.
  • Thank you to the nurse that used the baby needle to take my blood when she saw I was going to be a baby about it and my mom for coming and holding my hand.
  • Thank you to my Social Worker for editing paperwork many many times for me on a tight timeline and being so gracious about it.

  • Thank you to all my friends who have been showering me with sunshine.  I am soaking in your rays and it fills me with what I need to keep putting one foot in front of the other on this journey.
  • Thank you Meredith for being wise beyond your years and that radiant smile of yours
  • Thank you to my sister who I could already write chapters of gratitude.  The warmth of your conviction to this dream, the strength of your rays is stronger then the storm clouds that can chase me.
